Responsibilities:


  • Provide academic counseling to students, assisting them in setting academic goals and developing study plans.
  • Conduct oneonone counseling sessions to understand students' academic needs and challenges.
  • Offer guidance on course selection, academic programs, and career pathways based on students' interests and aptitudes.
  • Monitor students' academic progress and performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies for success.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to develop intervention plans for students facing academic difficulties.
  • Organize workshops and seminars on study skills, time management, and other academic topics to support student success.
  • Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions and student progress, ensuring confidentiality and privacy.
  • Stay updated on educational trends, resources, and best practices in academic counseling.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive environment where students feel empowered to reach their academic goals.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Education, Psychology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in academic counseling or student advising, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of educational resources, assessment tools, and counseling techniques.
  • Understanding of academic requirements and curriculum standards at various levels of education.
  • Ability to adapt counseling strategies to meet the diverse needs of students from different backgrounds and abilities.
  • Commitment to maintaining ethical standards and confidentiality in counseling practices.
  • Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed.

₹11, ₹30,792.05 per month
