### Job Summary:

The Interior Design Instructor will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the principles and practices of interior design.

This role involves developing and delivering course content, guiding students through practical projects, and fostering a learning environment that encourages creativity and professional growth.

### Key Responsibilities:

Teaching: Deliver engaging lectures and practical sessions on various aspects of interior design, including space planning, color theory, materials, furniture design, lighting, and sustainability.

Curriculum Development: Develop and update course materials, syllabus, and lesson plans to ensure the curriculum remains current with industry trends and standards.

Student Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to students through individual and group mentorship, helping them to develop their design skills and professional portfolios.

Project Supervision: Oversee student projects and assignments, offering constructive feedback and ensuring that learning objectives are met.

Assessment: Evaluate student performance through assignments, presentations, exams, and projects, providing timely and constructive feedback.

Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest developments in the interior design field and integrate new knowledge into the teaching curriculum.

Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other faculty members to enhance the overall learning experience and contribute to departmental initiatives and activities.

Industry Engagement: Foster connections with industry professionals and organizations to provide students with networking opportunities and insights into the professional world.

### Qualifications:

Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or a related field is required.

Experience: A minimum of [X] years of professional experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design projects. Prior teaching experience is highly desirable.
