Finance Intern

Overview:


Key Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis:


  • Assist in conducting financial analysis and preparing reports to support decisionmaking processes.
  • Analyze financial statements, trends, and performance indicators to identify areas for improvement or optimization.
  • Doing cold calling for Demat account opening

Budgeting and Forecasting:


  • Support the finance team in budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Assist in preparing budget templates, analyzing variances, and making recommendations for adjustments as needed.

Accounting Support:


  • Aid in maintaining financial records and ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Assist in reconciling bank statements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.

Financial Planning and Strategy:


  • Contribute to financial planning initiatives and strategic projects.
  • Assist in developing financial models and conducting scenario analysis to evaluate potential outcomes.

Ad Hoc Projects:


  • Participate in ad hoc projects as assigned by the finance team or senior management.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support special initiatives or strategic objectives.

Qualifications:


  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software/tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detailoriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
