The role of a tele sales executive is to use her/his persuasion skills to sell, upsell and cross-sell the company's products or services.


  • From generating leads to processing and answering customer queries, a tele sales executive will handle all kinds of telephonic conversations representing the company.
  • With the primary objective to meet sales targets, tele sales executives rely on strong communication and negotiation skills to excel in their job.
  • Ensure the sale of the company's offerings through the telephone
  • Act as a representative of the company and help customers with their queries
  • Develop and foster strong relationships with existing and potential customers
  • Update customers regarding the services and guide them toward what would suit their needs as a tele sales executive
  • Meet monthly sales targets through effective sales techniques
  • Convert leads for the company through telephonic conversations
  • Maintain and monitor the records of all the conversations, be it customer feedback, purchase orders or queries
  • Stick to the sales script and strategy, but also improvise it when needed, within the scope of the tele sales executive job role
  • Update customers about new launches and record customer reactions to new products
  • Be aware of the latest industry trends as a tele sales executive
  • Liaise with the concerned department regarding customer queries and complaints
