Description

Siemens Large Drives India Private Limited (SLDIPL) engineers and produces heavy-duty electrical drive systems for medium and high voltage ranges: electrical motors, converters, and generators.

Additionally, we offer special large drives for ships, mines and rolling mills. Our digitalization expertise and outstanding service keeps the performance and availability of your drives always at the maximum.


This is your role. What part will you play?

  • Develops, proposes, and implements EHS processes and/or methods.
  • Plans and accomplishes roll out of EHS programs or projects and monitors respective milestone in related organization.
  • Analyses and monitors adherence to EHS standards in assigned organizations and prepares regular EHS reporting.
  • Analyzes and reports on changes in relevant EHS laws and regulations and recommend changes for internal standards.
  • Contributes to internal and external EHS audits, in support of accountable EHS officer.
  • Able to work with systems and processes.
  • Ensure the 5S implementation in shopfloor & office.
  • Conduct assessment on Ergonomics and update.
  • Contributes to internal and external EHS audits planning & for smooth conduct.
  • Help maintain and manage the EHS programs, policies and procedures that comply with state, and local rules & regulations.
  • Prepare & Update of management reports.

What you need to make real what matters.

Experience:


  • Typically, 7+ years of successful experience in site and successful demonstration of key responsibilities and knowledge. At least 5 years of site related experience from relevant business. At least 2 years of experience in the regional/corporate office

Education & Training:


  • Degree in Engineering & EHS related (e.g., NEBOSH IGC, Industrial Safety Diploma).
  • Evidenced training/expertise in the broader spectrum of EHS topics.
  • Good level of knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management system.
  • Proven experience in working with EHS head in Region/Corporate office.
