Society for Children (SOCH) is a non-profit organization, established in 2012 and registered under Society Act XXI of 1860 with the Registration No-23515/51 at IGR Cuttack, Odisha. SOCH, through its various flagship programmes, have impacted to a great extent at various levels of the society including children, youth and overall community development.


Qualification:
Post graduate in Rural development, Social Work, Social Sciences, Human Rights or in any relevant discipline from a recognized university


Experience Segmentation Total experience in development sector - minimum 3 years out of which a minimum of 2 years of work experience on Child Right / Child Protection / Child Development


Role & Responsibilities:


  • Preparing action plans as per organizational requirement for smooth and effective implementation of child protection, child development and child right related issues.
  • Formation and activation of various child protection & child development structures in the assigned communities based on local and national guidelines / schemes related to child rights.
  • Ensure overall child protection and child development matters are taken care such as safety, security, education, health & hygiene, by monitoring and implementing various child protection & development programs.
  • Ensuring regular meetings/training related to child protection & development with various stakeholders dealing with children.
  • Ensure that Child Protection Policy is followed, and encourage good practice and support to protect children.
  • Establish convergence & Coordination with Government bodies for providing necessary support to the needy children.
  • Ensure confidentiality of records and information, with proper documentation.

Essential Knowledge Required:
(General Understanding, Planning tools & IT expertise)

  • Good understanding on structures of Child Protection & Child Rights in the state.
  • Sound understanding on laws and legal provisions related to Child Protection & Child Rights.

Salary:
Up to ₹24,000.00 per month


Schedule:

  • Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

  • Performance bonus
  • Yearly bonus
