Introduction

In this role, you'll work in our IBM Client Innovation Center (CIC), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world.

These centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology

As an IBM Application Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.


Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Headless architecture separates the frontend presentation layer from the backend content management system (CMS) or data source, allowing for greater flexibility and scalability
  • Collaborate closely with frontend and backend development teams, UI/UX designers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and functionality
  • Identify and resolve technical challenges and performance bottlenecks in the headless architecture.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Overall industry experience of 12+ years
  • Skilled technologist with a deep understanding of headless architecture, APIdriven development, and a passion for building scalable and innovative web solutions
  • Architecting and implementing headless solutions that enhance user experiences and empower our clients
  • Architect and Design: Design and architect headless solutions that decouple the frontend and backend, ensuring scalability, flexibility, and performance Hands on experience on the following skills
  • Commerce tool, Salesforce OMS, Salesforce B2B, Salesforce B2C, Sterling OMS, Micro service

  • You love collaborative environments that use agile methodologies to encourage creative design thinking and find innovative ways to develop with cutting edge technologies
  • Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work
  • Uptodate technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications
