Position Description:

Operational Support (Standard - NetAct)

The Tiger Team would be the first point of contact in case of IUM issues reported by GSD.
Procedure review for Critical/complex projects Continuous Improvement
RCA review & best practices sharing
R&D newsletter updates
Maintain the learning data base Scope of work
Tiger Team would be operating in ROTA
Weekend support would be planned as and when requested in advance or On Call basis.
Primarily team would be supporting to address the upgrade Offline/Online issues
Consultancy support for technical review (Initiated by DM) for complex projects.
NIPE Reviews
Technical Queries
Interaction with the OS24 / 4LS teams for issue resolution
Participate in Outage RCA review calls with PL This includes network infrastructure services and professional services for mobile networks and managed operations for fixed, mobile, IP and optical domains. This includes fault management, performance management configuration management, SW management. Skills required
Good knowledge of OSS Network Elements in at least one of the key vendors (Nokia
NetAct, NSP-NFMP, CBIS & CBAM)
Handson Experience on Network Element System and element management system and aware of daily health checks of servers.
NM Install and Upgrades including NetAct variants such as NetAct Bare metal, NetAct Cloud (VMWare / OpenStack), NetAct DR, NetAct DR on Cloud
Hands on in Archive Cloud (VMWare / OpenStack), NE Integrations to NetAct, Archive Cloud
Experience in System Acceptance Tests, New Feature testing in Lab, Hardware expansions, software and hardware scaling
Experience in storage migration
Experience in Network element integrations
Core/RAN/AD/Flowone
Should have good knowledge & understanding of telecom.
Good Knowledge & Skills on System Administration of Nokia
NetAct, NSP-NFMP, CBIS & CBAM
Good Knowledge & Understanding of Redhat/ Linux (Preferably /VMware, OpenStack Certified)
Scripting skills preferably Ansible, Python
Prior experience of project life cycle creation of HLD, LLD, Work packages
Good understanding of 2G, 3G, LTE RAN, IP/MPLS network.
Solid communication and presentation skills
Ability to collaborate with a team of senior experts and architects, Product Line Qualification
Should have good knowledge & understanding of Support Processes.
Minimum 3 years of experience in NetAct or OSS Deployments / Upgrades in Customer environment
Good experience in large and complex system integration projects
