Description

Lead entire spectrum of activities involved in internal VAVE (CTO) /Customer VAVE

Organize ideas generation brainstorming workshops (Physical/Virtual) & consolidate the ideas

Drive commodity & CFT teams to implement feasible ideas

Plan & follow up each idea from feasibility to implementation

Coordinate with purchase & sales team for getting savings values of feasible ideas

Follow up with Purchase & finance team to get the VAVE savings accounted for engineering in OIP

Collaborate with Commodity engineering teams for ideas clarification/guidance/CAD/drawings

Coordinate & follow up with plant team for getting samples for trials/testing

Prepare management reports monthly/yearly etc.

Support prepare LRP/Budget targets in coordination with Global APO & Local finance teams

Lead customer meeting for tracking & follow up on targets of customer VAVE ideas

Coordinate with customer for getting Design efforts & tests/samples approval

Ensure timely escalation of issues

Travel to different Lear plants & customer locations

Overall Experience
Minimum 8 years preferably in automotive sector

Experience of working on seating systems will be added advantage

Technical Skills
Experience of design and development of automotive seats with respect to the customer/OEM requirements

Launch & post launch plant support experience

Experience of working on BOM, PLM, data transfer, data management

Should have led small/medium size program

Shall be well conversant with design software's like Catia/ UG, Drawings etc.

Knowledge about CAE and physical testing

Understanding of product lifecycle process, ECN system

Soft Skills
Good communication skills written as well as verbal

Knowledge of excel & PowerPoint presentations

Good interpersonal skills

Able to handle multiple tasks in pressure situation
