Job responsibilities

Teaching: Present lessons in a comprehensive way, using visual and audio aids to facilitate learning. Provide individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning.
Lesson plans: Prepare lesson plans, study materials, activities, and everything else that is important to be planned before the actual lecture is delivered in the classroom.
Assigning homework: Assign and grade class work and homework.
Assessing student progress: Assess and record students' progress and provide grades and feedback. Regular and continuous assessments of students in the classroom are meant to provide feedback to the child and parents, feedback to the teacher, remediation for addressing the learning deficit among children.
Communicating with parents: Communicate with parents about students' progress.
Preparing classroom and course materials: Prepare classroom and course materials.
Following school policies: Follow all school policies, which usually has an assessment policy in place for a teacher to follow to set and record pupil targets.
Teaching students about school policies: Teach students about the classroom and school policies regarding attendance and behavior.
Preparing students for later grades: Prepare students for later grades by encouraging them to explore learning opportunities and to persevere with challenging tasks.
Acting as a mentor: Act as a mentor to students throughout the educational process and give students enough attention to enhance and enrich their interest in education and increase their selfconfidence.
