Purchasing Assistant - Calicut, India - MRM Regal Spices

Description

Responsibilities:
Assist the Purchase Manager in sourcing and selecting suppliers for food items and spices.

Collect and review supplier quotations and negotiate prices to ensure cost-effectiveness.

Prepare purchase orders and ensure accurate documentation of all purchasing activities.

Coordinate with suppliers to track order status, resolve any issues, and ensure on-time delivery.

Monitor inventory levels and assist in maintaining optimal stock levels of food items and spices.

Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, prices, and product availability.

Maintain accurate records of purchases, invoices, and supplier contracts.

Collaborate with other departments to understand their purchasing needs and provide the necessary support.

Assist in evaluating supplier performance based on quality, delivery, and pricing.

Support in the implementation of purchasing strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.

Follow company policies and procedures related to purchasing and ensure compliance at all times.

Assist in managing vendor relationships and resolving any issues or disputes that may arise.

Provide administrative support to the Purchase Manager as needed.


Qualifications:

• Proficiency in multiple languages, especially languages relevant to the company's target markets or suppliers, is highly desirable
• Proven experience as a Purchasing Assistant or similar role is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.

₹17,000.00 per month

• Secondary(10th Pass) (preferred)

Experience:

• Lead generation: 1 year (preferred)
