The Financial Accountant will ensure timely and accurate vendor payments and tax compliance reporting relating to accounts payable.

This partner will accurately maintain all records, processes, accounting, reconciliations, and reporting in compliance with GAAP and internal policies, while safeguarding company assets.


What you'll do:


  • Process invoices for payment and understand invoice processing system. Determine and assign proper GL accounts, ensure appropriate approvals and maintain internal accounting controls. Review of daily payments uploaded on bank, Bank Reconciliation, Vendor creation form approvals.
  • Generate daily payments, prepare checks for mailing/other handling, ensure electronic payment files successfully submit to bank.
  • Audit employee expense reports, ensure invoices and purchasing card transactions complete, maintain appropriate documentation, ensure correct approvals and sales and use tax charges.
  • Use appropriate reporting tools to analyze data for reasonableness, trends, and opportunities for process improvements. Recommend new reporting to obtain information easily and effectively.
  • Understand procure to pay processes. Identify, recommend, and drive improvement opportunities. Participate in or lead cross functional teams
  • Complete close and year end close processes in Oracle, prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, dashboards, and other managerial reporting. Assist with the tax processes at yearend. Review of Advance, Creditors, Open GRN, MSME. Monthly TDS working & Payment to Government. Complete monthly intercompany account reconciliations.
  • Understand and assist with ensuring vendor setups in a timely and efficient manner. This includes understanding local laws and processes and adhering to them.
  • Communicate with vendors and internal partners, answering questions, explaining processes, or performing analysis as requested

What you need to succeed:


  • A bachelor's degree in commerce /Accounting
  • 0.6 months to 2 Years of experience in accounting ideally in a corporate tax function, accounting & Finance, Shared Services, Taxation
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite software (Excel, Word, Etc.) and various software modules (General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Etc.)

Salary:
₹15, ₹25,000.00 per month
