COMPETENCIES
-
Client-driven: Going the extra mile - beyond quality, delivery, reliability, and consistency - involves focusing one's efforts on finding what a stakeholder (internal or external) needs, before they are even aware. Using this information to address and meet the requirement.
-
Results Focused:Ensuring one is both a starter and finisher. Involves measuring and monitoring progress, while keeping an eye on the bottom line. It is important that when the change of pace is intense, distractions do not take over, and initiatives started are completed.
-
Team Player:Commitment to the organisation's common goals, a focus on what is best for the business rather than what suits the individual. Involves communicating, sharing, and providing support, which goes much further than meeting others halfway. Includes putting in the required effort into building good working relationships, taking the initiative when others are slow and not being put off by negative responses.
-
Innovation: Thinks creatively to ensure business goals are achieved and takes actions to develop innovative solutions. Employees may need to find genuinely novel approaches to reduce costs, change working practices and processes, as well as to develop new opportunities.
-
Analytical:Analyses information and data, to identify issues, trends, innovation opportunities and performance measures. Able to articulate findings to internal stakeholders.
