Document Custody India is an extension of leading Deutsche Bank Document Custody Ops in USA.

Being part of the team, you will responsible in managing the team who is reviewing multiple US mortgage documents for confirming completeness and accuracy of information provided.

Document Custody India is part of larger Trust & Agency Services (TAS) having over 1,500 clients ranging from multi-national corporations to banks and financial institutions, hedge funds, asset managers and supranational agencies around the world.

TAS Ops support all types of transactions in the debt capital markets - from conventional to structured debt products, project finance, REITS and Islamic finance - and services for escrows, restructurings and exchanges, loan agency and document custody

Your key responsibilities

  • As an Associate (Operations Manager), you are expected to achieve success by leading yourself, your team and the business
  • Manage document custody process and lead a team of 20+ team members
  • Perform QC audits and support the daily production if required
  • Should be able lead the daily calls with business, understand and articulate to requirements from the onshore for the smooth course of the process
  • Understand the feedbacks received from internal quality and from Onshore team and disseminate the same to the team/team members
  • Responsible for responding to adhoc issues or client queries on a timely basis, ensuring all communications have been responded to before end of day.
  • Ensure process documentation is relevant and updated regularly for your process to audit standards.
  • Coach, Mentor, Develop, Onboard and provide career development planning and opportunities to the team members
  • Ensure Mandatory Compliance Courses are completed on time by you and your team
  • Identify and reward the performers through various rewards and recognition programs

Your skills and experience

  • Graduate in Bachelor's Degree
  • Should be willing to work from the base location
  • 8+ years of experience with minimum of 2 years people management exposure
  • Knowledge on US mortgage domain
  • Origination/Servicing. Familiarity of US mortgage documents like Mortgage, Modifications, Note, Assignment, Title Policy and Bailee letter
  • Must have had exposure to production management, work allocation, performance reporting on periodic basis, utilization, exception handling, prioritizing and distributing the daily work to meet deadlines and goals
  • Should be willing/flexible to work in rotational shifts or night shifts if required
  • Excellent in verbal/written communication
  • Ability to work in partnership with various support team, Key stakeholders and should be able to lead key deliverables
