The Raj Kumari Foundation is a non - governmental organization (NGO) headquartered in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, with a focus on implementing development sector projects across various states in India.
Role Summary:
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our team.
The Lab Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of the laboratory and the accurate execution of experiments and tests.
This position involves performing a variety of laboratory procedures, maintaining equipment, and adhering to safety and quality control protocols.Key Responsibilities
Laboratory Procedures:
- Conduct various laboratory tests, experiments, and procedures as required by research projects or quality control standards.
- Prepare and set up equipment and instruments for experiments.
- Perform sample collection, processing, and analysis.
Data Management:
- Record and maintain accurate and detailed records of experimental data, observations, and results.
- Organize and catalog samples, specimens, and experimental materials.
- Assist in data analysis and reporting as needed.
Equipment Maintenance:
- Ensure that laboratory equipment and instruments are in good working condition.
- Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and cleaning of laboratory equipment.
- Notify supervisors of any equipment malfunctions or issues.
Safety and Quality Control:
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to minimize potential hazards and maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist in maintaining quality control standards and ensuring accuracy in testing and analysis.
- Properly handle and dispose of hazardous materials and waste in compliance with regulations.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with other laboratory staff, scientists, and researchers to support their projects and experiments.
- Communicate and share information about experiments, results, and any challenges encountered.
- DMLT rom a recognized Institute.
- Previous experience of 1/2 years in a laboratory.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow precise instructions. Knowledge of laboratory equipment and techniques.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to laboratory regulations and guidelines.
Salary:
₹300,000.00 per year
Education:
- Diploma (required)
Experience:
- Laboratory: 1 year (preferred)
Ability to Relocate:
- Khordha, Orissa: Relocate before starting work (required)
