POSITION OVERVIEW :
Snowflake Developer \ Data Engineer

Database Development: Designing, developing, and maintaining databases using Snowflake, a cloudbased data warehousing platform.
Data MoClienting: Creating and optimizing data models that adhere to industry best practices and meet the specific requirements of the organization.
ETL (Extract, Transform, Load): Building and managing ETL pipelines to extract data from various sources, transform it into the desired format, and load it into Snowflake.
DBT Development: Leveraging DBT, an opensource data transformation tool, to build and manage data pipelines and data transformations in Snowflake.
Performance Optimization: Identifying and implementing strategies to optimize data processing and query performance within Snowflake, including indexing, partitioning, and clustering techniques.
Data Quality and Governance: Ensuring data integrity, quality, and compliance by implementing data governance frameworks and performing data validation and cleansing activities.

POSITION GENERAL DUTIES AND TASKS:

Database Expertise: Strong understanding and experience with relational databases, data warehousing concepts, and SQL programming.
Proficiency in Snowflake is essential.
DBT Proficiency: Indepth knowledge and experience with DBT, including building and managing DBT projects, creating reusable data models, and implementing data transformations.
ETL and

Data Integration:

Familiarity with ETL tools and data integration techniques to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Snowflake.

Data MoClienting: Strong data moClienting skills, including dimensional moClienting techniques and experience with tools like ERwin, ER/Studio, or PowerDesigner.
Problem-Solving and

Analytical Skills:
Ability to analyse complex data challenges, troubleshoot issues, and propose effective solutions.

Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders and present technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.
