Job Title:
Medical Trainer
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct training sessions for District Coordinators (DCs) and Program Medical Assistance Managers (PMAMs) on various medical packages.
- Assist in tracking and resolving queries from hospitals regarding medical packages.
- Coordinate with Third Party Administrators (TPAs) or Insurance Service Agencies (ISAs) to ensure timely approval of claims from hospitals within designated regions.
- Collaborate in efforts to reduce the rejection percentage of claims.
- Conduct visits to different districts within the region to train doctors at hospitals on Ayushman Bharat packages and educate Medical Officers in Charge (MoICs) at Community Health Centers (CHCs) and PMAMs.
- Organize routine, periodic, and surveillance visits to Government Hospitals, Medical Colleges, and CHCs to ensure adherence to defined standards.
- Monitor daily pre-authorization and claims initiation processes, and address queries raised by ISAs appointed by State Health Agencies (SHAs).
- Maintain the quality and timeliness of program data to facilitate report generation.
Educational Qualifications (Essential):
- Medical Graduate (MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BUMS/BHMS) or MBA in healthcare or PGDHM or Master of Health/Hospital Administration or Master of Public Health from a fulltime regular university program.
- OR Graduate with a Diploma in Medical Courses.
Professional Qualifications (Additional):
- At least 1 year of experience in health or insurance sector.
- Experience with Ayushman Bharat or any Governmentrelated Health Scheme is preferred.
Required Skills:
- Strong analytical and management skills.
- Ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
- Strong strategic focus and proficiency in project management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.
- Proficiency in medical data analysis and understanding of medical terminology.
