Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Embryologist to join our IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) clinic.

As an Embryologist, you will play a crucial role in the laboratory aspects of fertility treatment, including the handling, preparation, and assessment of gametes and embryos.

Your expertise in embryology techniques and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our patients' fertility journeys.


Key Responsibilities:

Embryo Handling and Culture:

Perform gamete and embryo manipulations, including oocyte retrieval, sperm preparation, fertilization techniques (conventional IVF, ICSI), embryo culture, and embryo grading.

Monitor and evaluate embryo development, using morphological and/or time-lapse embryo assessment systems.
Implement cryopreservation techniques (vitrification or slow freezing) for embryo, oocyte, and sperm freezing.

Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART)

Procedures:

Collaborate with the IVF team to plan and execute various ART procedures, such as preimplantation genetic testing (PGT), blastocyst biopsy, and embryo transfer.

Prepare embryos for transfer or freezing, ensuring accurate identification and documentation.
Assist with the coordination of gamete and embryo transportation, when necessary.

Quality Control and Laboratory Maintenance:
Ensure adherence to laboratory quality control protocols, including monitoring and recording environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, etc.) and equipment calibration.
Perform quality checks on laboratory supplies, media, and reagents to maintain optimal laboratory conditions.
Maintain accurate records of laboratory activities, including detailed documentation of all procedures performed.

Research and Development:
Stay up to date with the latest advancements and research in embryology and reproductive medicine.
Contribute to research projects within the clinic, including data collection, analysis, and publication of findings.
Collaborate with the clinical team in implementing new techniques and technologies to improve success rates and patient outcomes.

Patient Education and Support:
Provide accurate and clear explanations of laboratory procedures and results to patients, addressing their questions and concerns.

Educate patients about the various stages of embryonic development, treatment protocols, and the potential risks and benefits of different procedures.

Offer emotional support and empathy to patients throughout their fertility journey.

Compliance and Safety:
Comply with all applicable regulatory guidelines, including those set by governing bodies and organizations (e.g., CLIA, FDA).
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
Implement and monitor infection control measures within the laboratory.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in biology, embryology, reproductive science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Embryologist in an IVF or reproductive medicine laboratory setting.
  • Indepth knowledge of assisted reproductive technologies (ART), embryology techniques, and laboratory procedures.
  • Familiarity with cryopreservation techniques (vitrification, slow freezing) and embryo biopsy procedures.
  • Proficiency in embryo assessment and grading, including the use of morphological and timelapse systems.
  • Strong understanding of laboratory quality control protocols and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail to perform delicate laboratory procedures.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with the IVF team and educate patients about laboratory procedures.
  • Proficiency in using laboratory equipment, software, and databases.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with advancements in the field of reproductive medicine.

Salary:
₹10, ₹30,914.50 per month
