    Description

    What success looks like in this role:


    • Leads the efforts of a team of over 10 Unisys associates or contractors. This is not a direct reporting relationship, but leading a project or solution team of developers, testers, engineers or support associates to meet critical deliverables. May act as a SCRUM Master.
    • Provides analytical support in the conceptualization, development and implementation of enterprise systems, networks or application software, as well as desktop applications.
    • Provides technical advice and consultation on complex, critical issues and escalations.
    • Defines specifications for complex operating software programming applications and modifies and maintains complex existing applications.
    • Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications.
    • Codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements and maintains software applications.
    • Analyzes requirements and may maintain, test and integrates application components. Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented.
    • May assist with the evaluation of new and existing software products.
    • Learns project management techniques by acting as a team leader on small projects or portions of larger projects.
    • Develops client support plans for major projects.
    • Develops further depth and expertise in delivery management and may continue on the delivery management path or go on to deepen technical skills in architecture or highly specialized subject matter expertise.

    You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • Minimum Education Required: Bachelors' or master's degree in computer engineering .
  • *Minimum year's relevant experience required : 8+ years of development experience in Java technologies and minimum of 2 plus years as technical lead.
  • *Key Skills: Technical and Soft Skills Excellent coding and debugging skills in Java and related technologies(Java,JEE, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices, JPA, JMS/IBM MQ) Excellent knowledge and implementation experience of various design patterns. Experience in successfully design and implement medium complex enterprise applications. Experience in digital transformation, transforming from Monolithic to Microservice application . Experience in Cloud Services /AWS or Azure or GCP modules understanding and implementation along with multiple deployments.
  • Mentor and guide development team to develop sustainable and scalable solutions as per defined standards.
  • Experience in Liaise with customers and key stakeholders to manage contracts and relationships.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum development.
  • Experience in RFP/RFI process and prepare and facilitate the on-boarding process for new customers.
  • Expert Knowledge in Design Patterns ,Enterprise architecture, Enterprise Java ,Spring Framework , Spring Boot, JPA, Microservices, Containerization Experience with API concepts and technologies such as REST, JSON, XML, SOAP, YAML, GraphQL, and Swagger.UI/UX technologies such as React, Angular, Jquery, Javascript.Any of the Public cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, GoogleAPI Gateway such as Apigee,Cloud-based Kubernetes platformJenkins & pipeline (CI/CD), Maven, Nexus NoSQL (E.g. MongoDB, Document DB) RDBMS and SQL (E.g. MySQL / Oracle)Distributed caching (E.g. REDIS)Centralized logging platform (E.g. ELK)End to end tracingApp Performance MonitoringService MeshGIT (E.g. Gitlab / Bitbucket / GitHub)Fortify, Blackduck, SonarqubeMQ Technology (E.g. IBM MQ / Rabbit MQ)KafkaServers such as Apache, Tomcat,JBOSS
