Brief about the company

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Quality checks to be done when the fruit first arrives at the DC - based on the sampling as well

as the parameters defined. Provide feedback to procurement team on what needs to be

improved in terms of packaging / quality of fruit etc.

Providing feedback to DC and working with them to correct dispatch quality issues
Regular check of the quality of the product that we have in storage and segregation as per the

grading

At the time of dispatching ensuring that right quality / quantity is going out
Highlighting if there are products that should not be sold to certain customers
Getting sorting / grading done as per client's requirements for certain important clients
Return stock grading and sorting if required
Managing inventory / batches using our inhouse software as required
Training of labour on what constitutes as "premium" quality fruits and what are acceptable

defects / issues in the fruit

Setting the right parameters for quality and changing them as per season
Basic understanding of fruits and ripening processes etc. would be helpful
Need ownership and dedication to learn to be successful to be part of the organization
Loads of learning opportunities in one of the most modern fruit supply chain in the world
No more than 2 years of work experience in F&V
