Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled procurement/e-procurement personnel with extensive experience of working with GeM - Governement e-Marketplace for a leading gasket manufacturing company.
As the e-Procurement Officer, you will play a vital role in company's success by managing procurement processes and ensuring quality goods delivery and services on time and within budget.
You will be responsible for managing the entire processes on the GeM portal ensuring the company complies with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the needs of government tenders
- Ensure that all procurement processes comply with the company's policies and procedures as well as relevant laws and regulations
- Manage the company's GeM/E-Procurement processes, including sourcing, negotiation, contract management and online tendering
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and maintain a database of qualified suppliers
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure that they meet our quality and delivery requirements
- Manage the entire procurement process, including tender preparation, evaluation, and award
- Prepare and submit all required documentation and reports
- Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on procurement issues
- Monitor and track procurement activities and provide regular updates to senior management
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify their procurement needs and ensure that they are met in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain accurate and uptodate procurement records, including contracts, purchase orders, and invoices.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in GeM/E-Procurement or a related field preferably in manufacturing industry.
- Experience in government etendering processes and procurement is necessary
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word
- Strong understanding of government procurement policies and procedures
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Familiarity with procurement software and system.
