Position :
Project Engineer II

Location :

Experience : 6+ years

Roles & Responsibilities:

Work with Project manager closely to understand design engineering required and should be able to understand tender requirement.
Develop Functional and detailed specification for the projects
Generating System architecture drawings as per project requirement
Knowledge on Instrumentation standards, P&Id's
Independently conduct FAT for Control system
Ensures that the engineered solution meets project requirements in terms of functionality, standards, quality, and supporting documentation and implementation process at minimum cost for allocated work assignments.
Shares technical knowledge with project team, supervisor, own discipline and other engineering disciplines
Reports progress and technical problems to Project Manager and Service Leader.
Proactively identifies potential quality and efficiency improvements within assigned work.

- participate in project pre-commissioning, commissioning and SAT for the assigned project.

Owns responsibility for Engineering, like Cable schedule, Data sheet preparation, getting customer approval, inspection, site Execution, FAT/SAT and Site handover post completion.

- identification of the risk and opportunity on the technical side at the initial stage of projects.

Participate in Site survey and Kick of meeting with customer/End user.
Co ordinating with the internal cross functional team like Factory, Procurements, LRC, Engineering & Auocad etc.
Prepare DCI, Datasheet, Bill of material & functional design documents (FDS).
Prepare and review of Basic Engineering Drawing/Documents, Detailed engineering which includes P&ID study Instrument Location layout, Equipment layout for Control rooms, Cable schedule, JB schedule & Tray schedule. Detail drawings for local operating panels, Relay panels, Cable length calculation, Instrument Hook up drawings, loop schematic drawings. Instrumentation power distribution schematic Design of detail & basic engineering drawings & documents, releasing of drawing & documents to client for final approval. Preparation & releasing of Technical Procurement documents in line with client's
Handle technical communications with the customer till final close out of the Bid and engineering approvals.
Approval of vendors drawings, Manufacturing clearance, dispatch clearance and documents like TC, ITR review.
Interact with I&C contractor for defining I&C scope, checking I&C progress, listing balance I&C activities
Willingness of travelling at various customer for TFMS Commissioning and Customer meetings.
Co ordinating with the internal cross functional team like factory, procurements, GCC, LRC, Engineering etc.
Must have skill for installation and commissioning of Honeywell Radar Gauges. Servo Gauges, CIU and software.
Should have knowledge on different types of communication protocols e.g. HART, BPM, Wireless, Serial RS232 / RS485 Modbus, LAN connectivity etc. to hookup the field instruments with the interface units at Control room and TFMS / Honeywell system to any 3rd party System.

YOU MUST HAVE

BE Instrumentation / Electronics, 6+ years in Terminal Automation System/TFMS system.

ML200 PLC / Safety Manager / Control Edge / other PLCs hardware engineering, configuration and logic development, Undertake Hardware design Engineering activities like PLC Cabinet, Marshalling cabinet, Network cabinet and PDB cabinet drawing generation.
Engineering of field instruments and related engineering activities including instrument data sheets, JB/Cable schedule, Hook up drawings,
Knowledge of various communication protocols like Modbus TCP/IP, RS485, RS232 and their trouble shooting.
Installation, commissioning and troubleshooting of Honeywell Radar Gauges (Model 873, 97x, 990), Servo Gauges (Model 854, 954), TFMS software (Model Enti Pro, Entis) and integration them with other SCADA / PLC / DCS system over Serial or LAN modbus communication.
Design of above ground tanks, under ground tank, bullets, sphere and its use to customer.
Knowledge of all Field Instruments used in Terminal Automation System Batch controller, RIT, Card reader, Air eliminator, Strainer, PD Meter, MFM, DCV, Additive skid, Radar level transmitter, Servo level transmitter, TSI, MST, Pressure Transmitter, Density Meter, Vibrating Fork Type Level Switches, RTD, Pressure gauge, Temperature
