Research Associate - Fruit Quality Laboratory Vegetable Crops

Handling all necessary laboratory apparatuses
Calibration and maintenance of instrumentation
Maintain laboratory inventory glassware, chemicals, other raw materials
Preparation of samples and solutions
Coordination with breeding & testing team to understand the need of quality traits
Prioritize the traits and finalize biomolecule assays
Extraction of metabolites and its analysis
Execution of experiments with TAT to support breeding / product decisions
Implementation of assays biochemical & analytical
Implementation of Laboratory Best Practices & Laboratory KPI
Proper data collection and management, completing technical documentation and writing laboratory

reports

Analysis of data, interpretations and assess research findings in order to communicate conclusions
With time, scaling up laboratory output with High Throughput Assay implementation
Travel to research/ commercial trials field for putting in place the right sample collection, etc
Manage budgetcost for the laboratory
