Location:

Qualification Required :

ITI

Experience Required :2-4 years as VMC Operator

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

Machine Setup:

Setting up the VMC machine, including installing and adjusting tools, dies, and fixtures.
Configuring the machine settings based on the specifications of the job at hand.

Operation:

Operating the machine to perform machining tasks such as cutting, drilling, and milling.
Monitoring the machine during operation to ensure optimal performance and to detect any signs of malfunction.

Quality Control:

Measuring and inspecting machined parts to ensure they meet precise specifications and quality standards.
Using instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to perform checks.

Maintenance:

Performing routine maintenance on the machine to ensure its longevity and optimal functioning.
Identifying and troubleshooting issues that may arise during operation.

Programming:

Basic programming or modifying existing programs for CNC (Computer Numerical Control) operations on the VMC.
Understanding and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.

Safety:

Adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines in the workshop.
Ensuring that the work area is clean, safe, and organized.

Documentation:

Maintaining accurate records of job runs, including issues encountered and solutions implemented.
Documenting machine logs and maintenance checks as required.

Collaboration:

Working closely with other machinists and manufacturing staff to ensure seamless production workflows.
Communicating effectively with the supervisory staff regarding any production or machine issues.

Pay:
