Good understanding of Backup & Storage Technology
Worked on backup tools like Rubrik & Veeam (Administration & Configuration).
Good experience of NetApp Storage administration.
Knowledge of SolarWinds monitoring tool & ITSM tools like ServiceNow. Familier with Jira tool.
Monitoring and troubleshooting backup systems.
Commissioning and decommissioning client from backup.
Maintaining daily backup troubleshooting report and update with action taken.
Knowledge of backup schedule.
Restoring files/folders.
Raising ticket in ticketing systems for any backup failures.
Backup devices administration
Coordinating with vendor for any hardware failure. Pulling logs from respective device and providing to vendor for review.
Backup devices configuration.
Awareness of compression and deduplication.
Implementing procedures for configuration, layout and performance tuning of backup infrastructure components.
Storage arrays administration
LUNs provisioning, Zoning.
Implementing procedures for configuration, layout and performance tuning of storage infrastructure components
