Description
Must be conversant with OSHAS and ISO requirements.- Identify the training needs, design and impart training to staff, visitor, subcontractor and workmen.
- Monitor the evaluation of compliance to legal requirements.
- Apprise the Project Manager on matters of noncompliance and facilitate compliance.
- Conduct periodical Project EHS Inspections and report the finding for corrective action.
- Act as catalyst for the Project EHS Committee activities.
- Review & appraise the Project EHS performance and facilitate improvement.
- Report EHS shortcomings to Project Manager for continual improvement.
- Prepare and update Project EHS Plan.
- Prepare EHS Risk Assessment & Safe work methods.
- Organize campaigns, competitions & other special emphasis programs to promote EHS at workplace.
- Conduct investigation of all incidents & initiate necessary corrective & preventive actions at projects.
- Analyze incident trends & facilitate necessary corrective & preventive actions.
- Act as a catalyst for establishing, implementing & maintaining emergency preparedness and response procedure at projects.
