Roles and Responsibilities
**Job Description:
- **The role of the Chief Architect is to design and assist in implementation of the technology architecture to align with enterprise standards, processes, procedures, and targets. Decisions like the technology choice, supervision of the quality and implementation of designs, developing high performance architects within the organization would be under the scope of the Chief Architect.

Responsibilities and Duties**Provide strategic direction to the enterprise's IT requirements
Constantly monitor the technological landscape for new developments and changes that will impact IT and the business and help organizations decide when to implement such changes.
Spearhead the design and implementation of microservices and data processing
Take up POCs and collaborate on implementations using new age technologies/
Define and establish enterprise architectural principles and ensure that the same are incorporated into the IT roadmap.
Have a thorough understanding of the technology landscape and be able to explain the competitive advantages of various technology alternatives.
Responsible for addressing the business requirements through a viable and feasible solution architecture that can be delivered within a budget and without compromising the quality.
Identify and design IT transformation projects, create scope of work for the identified IT transformation projects, evaluate technical proposals from vendors and ensure selection and implementation of the appropriate IT architecture.
Lead and provide technical consultancy, guidance, instruction, and leadership to all other architects who are engaged in delivering solutions to DoP.
Responsible in identifying and classifying IT technologies that can be implemented immediately and create roadmaps for implementing technologies which are in the horizon like AI/ML, blockchain, serverless computing, etc.

Qualification:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related engineering (mandatory)
- ** TOGAF9 Certified
Work
Minimum 15+ years of relevant experience in delivering enterprise-class, mission-critical, commercial, and scalable solutions.
Experience
Should have a thorough understanding of the products/solutions/market/technology in the Cloud domain
Have a successful track record of leading architecture work for large scale government transformation projects handling migration from on
- premises to cloud environments
Should have exposure to working with different Enterprise Architecture frameworks like TOGAF & IndEA
Experience in designing & implementing technology roadmaps for government organizations that align to product roadmaps
Soft Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
Problem identification skills with a keen eye for details.
Ability to foster a cooperative work environment with cross functional team.
