Description

Ø To ensure safety and environmental health requisites during construction stage

Ø To ensure zero accidents during the construction.

Ø Ensure the implementation of the EHS Management System and norms as per the IMS and EHS Manual respectively.

Ø Identify the training needs, design and impart training to staff, visitor, subcontractor and workmen.

Ø Prepare and update Project EHS Plan.

Ø Report project EHS statistics.

Ø Organize campaigns, competitions & other special emphasis programs to promote EHS at workplace.

Ø To educate contractors and work-force to follow safety norms & standards on site.

Ø To comply with EHS & Safety norms and conduct safety audits on site.

Ø To initiate preventive measures on safety and promote safety awareness.

Ø To carry-out safety inspections and avert unsafe acts regularly.

Ø Support the development of OHS policies and programs

Ø Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics

Ø Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures

Ø Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity

Ø Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy

Ø Record and investigate incidents to determine causes and handle workers compensation claims

Ø Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management

Ø In depth knowledge of legislation (e.g., OSHA/EPA) and procedures

Ø Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices

Ø Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety

Salary:
From ₹25,000.00 per month
