Position:
ITI Welder


Job Summary:

An ITI Welder is a skilled professional responsible for performing welding and related tasks in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.

The Welder's primary responsibility is to join metals together using various welding techniques, ensuring the integrity and quality of the welded components.

The role requires attention to detail, proficiency in welding methods, and adherence to safety protocols.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Welding Operations:
Perform various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, ARC, and Oxy-Acetylene, based on the project's requirements.
Interpret and understand welding diagrams, blueprints, and technical specifications.
Select appropriate welding equipment and tools for the job.

Material Preparation:
Prepare materials for welding, such as cutting, grinding, and cleaning surfaces to ensure proper fit-up.
Identify and address any defects or imperfections in the materials before welding.

Weld Quality and Inspection:
Inspect and evaluate welds for accuracy, completeness, and conformity to specifications.
Maintain quality control throughout the welding process and make adjustments as needed.

Safety Compliance:
Follow safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Properly handle and store hazardous materials and equipment.

Equipment Maintenance:
Maintain welding equipment by cleaning, troubleshooting, and performing regular maintenance checks.
Report any equipment malfunctions or issues promptly.

Team Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with other team members and supervisors to achieve project goals and timelines.
Communicate effectively regarding project status, challenges, and progress.

Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with advancements in welding techniques, technologies, and safety practices.
Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance welding efficiency and quality.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Successful completion of ITI (Industrial Training Institute) or similar certification in Welding.
  • Proven experience as a Welder in a similar capacity.
  • Proficiency in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, ARC, and Oxy-Acetylene).
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
  • Knowledge of safety practices and precautions related to welding operations.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Physical dexterity and stamina to handle heavy equipment and materials.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new welding methods and technologies.

Salary:
₹15, ₹20,000.00 per month
