A telemarketing executive is responsible for selling products or services over the phone to potential customers.

Some specific duties of a telemarketing executive may include:


  • Identifying and targeting potential customers through lead generation techniques.
  • Contacting potential customers by phone to introduce products or services and persuade them to make a purchase.
  • Responding to customer questions and objections, and providing additional information or resources as needed.
  • Handling customer inquiries, complaints, and requests for service.
  • Upselling and crossselling products or services to customers.
  • Keeping accurate records of sales activities, including leads, proposals, and contracts.
  • Providing regular sales reports to management.
  • Staying up to date with industry trends, competitors, and new products or services.


Qualifications for a telemarketing executive may vary, but typically include a Degree or equivalent, as well as several years of telemarketing or sales experience.

Strong communication, persuasion, and customer service skills are important. Some organizations may also require telemarketing executives to have a proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Up to ₹400,000.00 per year
