Description

Job Description- Key Responsibilities- To implement Safety Standards, procedures and systems in the plant in collaboration with the plant personnel
- o To conduct the necessary training for the employees at the plant on Safe working practices, Job safety analysis, development of risk assessment.- o To conduct periodic audits on compliance of Safety to identify opportunities for improvement and to facilitate implementation of such improvements.- o Ensure Reporting and investigating all type of accidents and near misses.- o Ensure legal and governance compliances are met at the plant.

Ensure the Environmental standards are maintained within the GPCB limits.
Ensure that ETP, STP, stack monitoring, ambient air monitoring etc are operated and maintained in good working conditions.
Liaison with internal and external stake holders like, plant Liner managers, corporate, Tamilnadu Factory Inspector and Pollution control board, Fire Department etc for ensuring EHS Legal compliances.
Engineering Graduate/ Diploma with Formal Post graduate qualification in Environment & Industrial Safety Management.
Formally Qualified as a Lead Auditor in OSHAS & ISO 14000 from reputed certifying agency.

Should have at least years of experience in process industries like Tire /Cement/Mining / Heavy Engineering with track record of establishing Best in class Safety systems & practices.
