Position Summary

Ensuring the financials related to RE activities are booked, recorded, Monitored and Controlled, both with respect to Cost and time, including advanced heads up on likely deviations to the budget and targets.

Acting as a "tursted partner" to the RE management by Maintaining the accuracy of books and records, including recording of such in the appropriate systems, e.g.

SAP - ensures compliance with Siemens-FRG plus the local Gaap requirements. Ensures all related reporting and controlling activities

Scope:
Apart from Zone India, the position is responsible for proper governance and reporting of RE financials of Direct countries( i.e Australia and New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia and Thailand )

Key Responsibilities

Supports accountable management in planning and calculating yearly budgets.
Consolidate budgets, including topdown and bottomup plans, and proceeds with revolving midterm planning, and periodic forecasts during the year.
Performs comparisons Actual vs. Plan, and pursues effects of agreed measures.
Monthly bookings of billing and analysis of cost booked and variances
Reconciliation of GL Accounts and periodical Balance sheet Review
Monthly bookings of Revenues and analysis of cost booked and variances and also ensuring all cost including provisions are booked appropriately.
Monitoring CWIP (Capital Work in Progress) account and Capitalisation of assets and ensuring that Physical verification takes place at regular intervals
Supports the Project manager in identifying, evaluating, assessing risks & opportunities, strategies and response activities
Ensures together with the Project Manager the adherence to internal controls (RIC), incl. ICFR
Ensures proper execution of all tasks with all relevant stakeholders, i.e. SFS (e.g. financing, insurance, guarantees, currency & commodity hedging), CF (e.g. AC, Taxes, Treasury, Audit), GBS,RIC incl. OR, Legal and Compliance, ECC, Customs etc.

Education & Experience

Professional commercial knowledge. Minimum bachelor of commerce degree/BMS and a professional course in management (cost accountancy / chartered accountancy / MBA in finance etc.) is optional
Fluent English spoken skills and outstanding communications skills with internal key stakeholders (Legal, Tax. Insurance, accounting, Procurement, local entity management

- at least 3-5 years' experience in areas related to performance and controlling
