Summary:


The workup of the loan prior to submitting the loan to underwriting is an integral part of the processing cycle, primary responsibility for ensuring all the number are worked up correctly in order for the underwriter to final approve the loan.


Essential Job Functions:


  • Setup Anticipated Closing Date, Disbursement Date & First Payment Date
  • Setup Escrow in Lakewood from Tax Certificate
  • Setup Hazard Insurance based on Declaration Page / prior policy
  • Pull Payoff and update on Lakewood
  • Update Title Fees and Payee Names on Lakewood from Title Fee Sheet
  • Update Refinance and Escrow Credit Transfer
  • Update TRID Contacts (Settlement Agent / Lender)
  • Review and cure Tolerance as applicable
  • Run FHA Refinance authorization
  • Only on FHA Loans
  • Loan amount is set per guidelines
  • Cash to Close to be setup based on loan product / LO comments
  • Update Non-Borrowing spouse details for Spousal states and as applicable
  • Automated Compliance Review
  • Disclose Initial CD to all Parties
  • Update & complete all initial Tracking items
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of processing and preparation of closing disclosure a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word) with an intermediate to advanced level of proficiency in Excel
  • Capacity to comprehend, analyze and interpret complex documents
  • Ability to maintain information with a high level of confidentiality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
  • Team player highly collaborative, yet has uncanny ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as accept direction from others
  • Must perform well in fastpaced environment and under pressure with timedriven tasks
  • Must be flexible with change

Education and/or Experience:
  • Bachelor's or Associates degree with a concentration in business, real estate or related field preferred
  • Two (2) plus year's work experience

Language Skills:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.


Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
