It will be your mission to maximize customer satisfaction through world-class transport outbound logistics solutions by selecting the most competitive service providers and by implementing the most efficient and environmental friendly operations.


You will have to work closely & together with internal and external customers, as well as with the external service providers (third party logistics & transport companies) to plan and organize our daily product shipments.


To succeed in this role, you should have thorough knowledge of outbound logistics, 3PL handling, people management and excellent understanding of warehouse procedures including storing of goods, execution of sale orders and tracking system of the shipments.

You should also familiar with safety precaution and legal regulations required in transport industry.

Ultimately, you will ensure that all shipments are timely and safely delivered and of course well within budget


You will be responsible for

  • Perpetual Physical Stock taking of finished products and reconciliation with system stock.
  • Preparation of discrepancy free documents to meet the requirement of Letter of Credit and negotiation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies & statutory requirement as per Govt rules & regulations.
  • Timely execution of pending customer orders, in close communication with the regions.
  • Invoicing after going thru terms & conditions of sales orders.
  • Handling of Sales Return, rejection and settlement of claims.
  • Review & evaluation of SLA with Transporter.
  • Reporting on transportation costs.
  • Responsible for accurate documentation and timely execution of shipments.
  • Keeping track & trace of all shipments, documents etc.
  • Working Knowledge of E-Way Bill / E-Invoicing.
  • Planning & Scheduling of weekly & daily dispatches.
  • Organise training session for employees (e.g. proper use of machines and handling of hazardous material).
  • Implement and monitor performance tools to follow up actual performance versus agreed targets (CO2 emission reduction, cost, service levels, delivery times, damage rate etc.)
  • Handling GAP outbound transportation
  • Coordinate shipments with customers, suppliers and/or freight forwarders to ensure timely and damagefree deliveries in the most costeffective manner
  • Implement and maintain accurate claim and damage records with transport
- and insurance companies to ensure claims are getting reimbursed on time

  • Resolving delivery related issues
  • Implementing & supporting projects roll out in India for ACT

Experience requirements

  • Proven people management skills and handling multiple priorities from various stakeholders in effective manner is must for this position.
  • Problemsolving capabilities are very important as entire ownership of plant would be on this person.
  • Experience in transport outbound logistics / 3PL management would be an must.
  • The person with minimum three years of experience in Logistics is most suitable.
  • Experience in warehouse management, stock planning, stock take, etc would be an asset.
  • Exposure to ERP systems SAP would be handy.
  • Clear understanding of Incoterms 2020 & UPC 600.
  • Thorough knowledge and experience in statutory requirements, including Insurance is handy.
  • Familiar with logistics software.
  • Basic concept of 3PL Contract, Terms & Conditions.
  • Knowledge of basic plant safety requirement would be useful and handy.

Educational qualification**- Bachler degree in any discipline from a recognized University.

  • Post Graduate Degree / Diploma in Management preferable.

  • Customeroriented, offering excellent service and establish a good relationship with internal and external customers.
  • An effective stress management skills.
  • Willing to work long hours on month end as major dispatches happen in last week.
  • Logical, analytical, methodical & creative thinker.
  • Good communicator, have fluency in English, Hindi & Marathi.
