Interior Designer and Furniture Manufacturing Specialist

Job Overview:

Our interior design and furniture manufacturing company is seeking an experienced and creative interior designer who is also knowledgeable in the manufacturing process of furniture.

As an Interior Designer and Furniture Manufacturing Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and implementing innovative design solutions for our clients' interior spaces, as well as overseeing the production of custom-made furniture in our manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities:

Develop and produce design concepts, mood boards, and space plans that meet clients' needs and expectations
Select furniture, lighting, accessories, and materials that align with design concepts and budgets
Work closely with clients to understand their design preferences, project goals, and budgets
Create detailed drawings and specifications for custom furniture pieces, and collaborate with our manufacturing team to ensure successful fabrication
Oversee the production process of custom furniture, from initial design to final installation, ensuring quality and timely delivery
Manage project timelines and budgets, and ensure projects are completed within scope and on time
Stay current on interior design and furniture manufacturing trends, and continuously improve design and technical skills

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in interior design, architecture, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in interior design and furniture manufacturing
Strong knowledge of furniture manufacturing process, including Kitchen, wardrobe, materials, and finishes
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with ability to articulate design concepts and collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and manufacturers
Strong attention to detail, with ability to produce accurate and detailed drawings and specifications
Strong project management skills, with ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
