About NHA:

National Health Authority (NHA) is the apex body responsible for implementing India's flagship public health insurance/assurance scheme called "Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana" & has been entrusted with the role of designing strategy, building technological infrastructure and implementation of "National Digital Health Mission" to create a National Digital Health Eco-system. National Health Authority is the successor of the National Health Agency, which was functioning as a registered society since 23rd May, 2018.NHA is governed by a Governing Board chaired by the Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare.

Background about NDHM:

The

National Digital Health Mission (NDHM) aims to develop interoperable IT platform to integrate all digital health solutions in India.

It will be UPI equivalent in healthcare. NDHM was announced by the Hon'ble Prime Minister on 15th August 2020. Pilot has been launched.
Job Description:
B.E./B Tech/M.Tech/MCA or equivalent from a recognized university or Institution
7+ Years in IT projects / other relevant areas
Respond to and resolve database access and performance issues.
Create runbooks and systemic solutions to incidents.
Proactively monitor database system details including stored procedures and execution time, and implement process improvements
Monitor, optimize, and allocate physical data storage for database systems
Develop, implement, and maintain change control and testing processes for modifications to databases
Perform database transaction and security audits. Setup database access controls.
Advise the customer on best practices
Hands on experience in participating in upgrades & migrations for customers
Ensure that customers have appropriate maintenance in place including backups, index maintenance, and routine vacuuming
Hands on with Performance tuning
Should continue to learn new skills involved in being a DBA as the technology evolves
Keep up to date with new releases of database and advise customers of the aspects that pertain to them
Experience on Database Migration, Installation, Upgrades and Patching.
