Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain project management tracker for different workstreams and individual Anganwadi centres ensure delivery against agreed milestones and targets, identify gaps in delivery, and take corrective measures in consultation with Projects team and Head
ECCE.
Coordinate with the Projects team, Head and Finance team on issues related to procurement and vendor payment processes, and ensure timely implementation.
Share periodic programme updates and budget projections, along with project briefs, presentations for internal stakeholders, as required
Visit the field regularly to check the progress of infrastructure development, and highlight any quality concerns, delays etc.
Coordinate with local stakeholders
CDPOs, Supervisors, Gram Pradhans and Anganwadi workers to collect data, understand and resolve field issues
Organize training workshops for Anganwadi workers and community members, coordinate with external trainers, as required.
Organize community events to hand over the developed centres
Follow up with District Programme Officer of ICDS in Varanasi to get information (e.g. lists of potential Anganwadis, contact details), submit letters, hand over details etc.
Share periodic updates with officials in person.
Coordinate with Communications team for photo and video documentation of the project, and facilitate visits of consultants to Anganwadi centres
Any other responsibilities, as per programme and organizational requirements, as assigned by line manager

Education Requirement:

Necessary: Post Graduate Degree in social work / management / social science
Desired: Understanding of Women and Child Development department may be an advantage

Experience Requirement:

Necessary: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience. Post Graduate Degree in social work / management / social science
Desired: # Familiarity with Varanasi and villages in the district
