Oracle DB Engineer

Details:
We need top technical talent to supplement our Database Engineering team. This team selects the operational database technologies team will use, and figures out how best to set them up.


Additional desirable attributes

  • Skill at the Unix command line
  • The ability to write code or script, e.g. for test harnesses or other databaserelated tools and utilities
  • Experience as a database administrator and/or a Unix system administrator
  • Knowledge of virtualization and cloud infrastructures, and of implementations such as VMWare, OpenShift, Kubernetes and Docker
  • Knowledge of AWS, Google Cloud, Azure or other public cloud offerings
  • Knowledge of modern storage and compute technologies, including hyperconverged infrastructures
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Salary:
₹900, ₹1,500,000.00 per year


Experience:

- total work: 5 years (preferred)

  • Oracle database: 5 years (preferred)
  • UNIX: 3 years (preferred)
  • Patching: 3 years (preferred)
- installation: 3 years (preferred)

  • GDHA: 3 years (preferred)
  • AWS: 1 year (preferred)
Google Cloud Platform: 1 year (preferred)
