Overview:

  • Knowledge of aircraft and understanding the functions of various aerospace wing components
  • Expert in Finite element modeling using Hypermesh (1D, 2D, 3D ) and should be capable of idealizing the structure both GFEM and DFEM
  • Experience on using connections like MPCs, Stuck nodes, Glue elements, CFAST etc
  • Experience in submitting and debugging issues with Nastran Runs
  • Well versed in postprocessing FE results and capable of presenting the FEM results
  • Experience in FE Validations per Airbus methodology
  • Experienced in the static calculations of Airbus aircrafts (wing section)
  • Well versed in ISAMI static modules and ISAMI template preparation
  • Sizing and stress analysis of the Wing Structure and interfaces by means of hand calculations, numerical simulations (FEM)
  • Very wellversed in stress dossier writing
  • Good in excel macros, Tcl/Tk, PCL

Skills:


  • Pre Processing: Hypermesh and Patran
  • Solver: Nastran and Optistruct (optional)
  • Post Processing: Hyperview and Patran
  • Catia V5, AIRENA (Basic knowledge)
  • Excel & VBA, Tcl/Tk, PCL
  • ISAMI
  • Python Scripting (Desirable)
