Job Title:
Cloud Architect - Cloud Service


Responsibilities:


1.


AWS Services:


  • Manage and maintain a complex and scalable AWS environment, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.
  • Implement and monitor AWS services, including EC2 instances, S3 storage, EMR, RDS databases, Lambda functions, and more.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, network connectivity problems, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design and implement solutions that align with business needs.

Production Deployment:


  • Lead and execute the endtoend process of production deployments, and release coordination.
  • Develop and maintain deployment pipelines using tools such as AWS Code Pipeline, Jenkins, or similar.
  • Implement best practices for version control, configuration management, and infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Git and CloudFormation.
  • Perform release management, rollback procedures, and ensure zerodowntime deployments.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure proper testing and validation of deployment processes

3 Infrastructure Management:


  • Experience in Managing and Maintain services availability
  • Experience in managing resources are optimal used
  • Knowledge on different Compute SKU's
  • Knowledge on Serverless compute architecture
  • Knowledge on Object Storage, Storage accounts
  • Reservations
  • Automate routine operational tasks, such as provisioning and scaling of resources, using infrastructure automation tools.
  • Create and maintain scripts and templates for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.


  • Networking

  • VPC, Internet GW, SG, FW and
  • DC Connectivity, Route 56, DNS
  • Inter Cloud Connectivity ( Azure, Google, OIC)
  • Deep knowledge on Troubleshooting
  • Managing the SLA of services

Security and Compliance:


  • Implement security best practices for AWS environments, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and monitoring.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, and actively participate in security audits and assessments.

Performance Optimization:


  • Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements to ensure high availability and scalability.
  • Optimize AWS resources to maximize cost efficiency while maintaining performance.

Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:


  • Document system architecture, configurations, and deployment processes. Runbook and SOP updating
  • Share knowledge and mentor junior team members in AWS administration and production deployment practices.

  • Manage Cost Optimization
  • Keep Budget in Control

8- Cloud Service Delivery

  • Managed smaller teams for daily Operation.
  • Well versed in ITSM /ITIL process for cloud operation and releases
  • Capture the project demand, design the solution, implement the cloud infrastructure, and manage the performance to support the business priorities.
  • Design and implement the essential processes to run the IT operations on the cloud for the Core Infrastructure, OS management, storage, databases, alerting, monitoring, patching, network, security, virus protection and backup.
  • Report weekly status for project execution and monthly business review for SLA performance and consumption.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 15 + years of handson experience as an OS /VMware/ Storage Administration and Management, Cloud Administrator and management
  • At least 8 Years work experience in Cloud Platform with a proven track record of managing complex AWS environments.
  • At least 3 to 4 years IT architect role in Cloud or DC
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and infrastructure as code tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform).
  • Deep understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and AWS services, ITIL process
  • Delivery of IT Infrastructure services to Business through Cloud Platforms
  • AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
