Job Description:

Establish company purchase policies and procedures for contracting, procurement, and inventory management activities, gathering feedback from Technical and Project Execution teams.
Ensure procurement procedures align with corporate and regulatory standards as well as customer expectations.
Ensure clear internal procedures and compliance with relevant government regulations.
Coordinate requests for services/materials from Project Execution, aligning expectations on quality, cost, and timeliness.
Maintain an approved list of vendors, constantly developing and renegotiating for various spares.
Manage tender/direct appointment/selection processes accordingly.
Lead negotiations of sales terms and contracts; collaborate with Sales/Execution departments to ensure contract adherence.
Optimize procurement across projects to maximize economies of scale, advising on schedule or cost impacts.
Negotiate and oversee transportation for all company operations and projects.
Ensure timely purchase delivery and adherence to purchase orders with support from field Execution/retail sales/service teams.
Maintain clear records of goods ordered and received at stores/clients' sites.
Determine cost estimation for each project, including material usage.
Undertake any other assignments or projects as directed by superiors.

Essentials:

A graduate in Engineering (B.E/B.Tech) with a minimum of 15 years of experience in the entire SCM Value Chain. Must hold a diploma/degree in Material Management/Handling. An additional Masters' degree in Finance/Operations/SCM is advantageous. Superior communication and strong negotiation skills are essential requirements.
