Position:
Junior Credit Underwriter
Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements and assess credit risk.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Prior experience in credit analysis or underwriting is a plus but not mandatory.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assess creditworthiness of loan applicants by analyzing financial data, credit reports, and other relevant information.
- Review and verify applicant information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with other departments such as sales, operations, and risk management to streamline the underwriting process.
- Prepare reports and documentation related to underwriting activities.
