Roles and Responsibilities
10+ Years of experiences as Oracle Database Administrator
Excellent understanding, installing, administering, and working knowledge of Oracle 12c, 19c, 21c databases
Experience with migrating database to ExaCC platform
Current Working knowledge on Exadata
Develop and maintain system documentation related to your Oracle Exadata and software configuration.
Experience with Patch/Upgrade and release management (database, storage node, server, network, Oracle Exadata)
Clear understanding of Exadata features like Flash cache, Storage Index, HCC and IORM
Exadata feature enablement, monitoring, review, and update placement strategy.
Solid exposure of Exadata hardware
Understanding of Luns, Cell Disk and Grid disk
Understanding of CELLCLI and DCLI
Performance tuning of Exadata component
Understanding of Cell Storage software
Experience with migration of Oracle Databases from Onpremises to Oracle Exadata Cloud at Customer
Monitor resource utilization and Oracle Compute Unit (OCPU) enablement.
Create/manage Oracle SR and support team in issue resolution
Communicate appropriately and efficiently with management, customers, and vendors.
Oncall rotation is required to support a 24/7 environment and is also expected to be able to work outside business hours to support a global delivery.
