Job Purpose:
Manage programming strategy (planning/scheduling) with active inputs to ensure smooth functioning of the channels.
Responsibilities:
1) Programming & Scheduling:
- Programming entry based on schedule / planner into the LRS System (Landmark rights & scheduling) in sync with the processes + timelines across teams in tandem to support target achievement.
- Track the planner to the final system input for error free programming logs
- Tactical planning for scheduling of elementals to ensure repeat patterns is maintained.
- Execute tactical tweaks for combative scheduling
- Maintain run sheets on a daily basis
- Maintain performance track report for shows and movies
- Check daily onair logs
- Share weekly/ Monthly FPC with all stakeholders.
- Assigning break structure for movies & shows
- Tracking license date for windowing and expiry details etc.
- Assist on program performance on a weekly level to maximize ratings from a scheduling point of view
- Understanding of the content library and IPs and assist in curating suitable shows from the library
2) Coordination
- Follow up on coordination programming compliance & library that is relevant to scheduling / advance planning + track on Operation deliveries when required
- Participate in weekly content catch ups for ongoing and new offerings
- Sync with NPS & Traffic team for breaks/ log fills / overall content sweeps to support immediate supervisor
- Coordination with Media planning team for prioritizing onair promo playout
- Track regular release of EPGs on time with team
3) Tracking and competition mapping
- Basic data related analysis for weekly tracking
- Remain constantly aware of genre initiatives market
Job Requirement:
1) Minimum graduate, with ability to familiarize and gain expertise on soft-wares (Excel/Power Point) and eventually the BARC/Yumi
- software.
2) Minimum 4+ years' experience in Commercial Broadcast/Cable Television (Kids genre preferred, with exposure to data insights and programming strategy capacity with top rating channels and ability to work with a team.
