Job Purpose:

Manage programming strategy (planning/scheduling) with active inputs to ensure smooth functioning of the channels.

Responsibilities:

1) Programming & Scheduling:

Programming entry based on schedule / planner into the LRS System (Landmark rights & scheduling) in sync with the processes + timelines across teams in tandem to support target achievement.
Track the planner to the final system input for error free programming logs
Tactical planning for scheduling of elementals to ensure repeat patterns is maintained.
Execute tactical tweaks for combative scheduling
Maintain run sheets on a daily basis
Maintain performance track report for shows and movies
Check daily onair logs

- break placement, promo placement and other on air elements

Share weekly/ Monthly FPC with all stakeholders.
Assigning break structure for movies & shows
Tracking license date for windowing and expiry details etc.
Assist on program performance on a weekly level to maximize ratings from a scheduling point of view
Understanding of the content library and IPs and assist in curating suitable shows from the library

2) Coordination

Follow up on coordination programming compliance & library that is relevant to scheduling / advance planning + track on Operation deliveries when required
Participate in weekly content catch ups for ongoing and new offerings
Sync with NPS & Traffic team for breaks/ log fills / overall content sweeps to support immediate supervisor
Coordination with Media planning team for prioritizing onair promo playout
Track regular release of EPGs on time with team

3) Tracking and competition mapping

Basic data related analysis for weekly tracking
Remain constantly aware of genre initiatives market

Job Requirement:

1) Minimum graduate, with ability to familiarize and gain expertise on soft-wares (Excel/Power Point) and eventually the BARC/Yumi
- software.

2) Minimum 4+ years' experience in Commercial Broadcast/Cable Television (Kids genre preferred, with exposure to data insights and programming strategy capacity with top rating channels and ability to work with a team.
