Position Overview:

At the Connected Enterprise Solutions (CES), a unit of Molex LLC, we are creating innovative solutions for the smart building of the future.

We're seeking a talented Principal Architect to be at the center of fusion of IoT technologies, cloud, and latest in machine learnings and predictive analytics.

We're creating an advanced sensor-based digital network connected with a tight integration (power, control, and IoT edge & cloud-based data) of IP native devices and legacy building systems to create the smart building of the future.

Our solution will create new insights that improve overall building performance, building/space management, substantially increase automation and create new use cases that increase employee productivity and comfort.

In this role you are a driven, self-starter but immensely passionate about personal and professional achievement while solving our customers' complex business problems.

You combine an informed view of the market with the understanding of emerging technology trends to speed-up innovation across the solution.

You'll collaborate with a variety of backgrounds and lead efforts to expand the capabilities of CoreSync on-prem and cloud-based platform.

Required Qualifications:

Technical Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Math background desired.
Experience with Cloud Architecture, Software Development, Infrastructure Architecture, Data Engineering, DevOps, security, and database architecture.
Experience integrating diverse components and technologies using external APIs or other IoT protocols.
Experience in developing technology solutions and evangelizing endtoend technology roadmaps that guide scalable IoT platform.
Deep understanding of AWS services such as EKS, load balancing, VPC, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience designing, building, refactoring, or operating large scale and impactful IoT systems either on premises or in the cloud.
Support the development of the Principal Architects team by coaching, mentoring, best practice sharing and providing stretch opportunities.
Experience in Site Reliability Engineering.
Experience with a programming or scripting language.

Skills and Abilities:

Working within a JIRA SDLC is desired.
Knowledge of system performance and operational readiness monitoring
Full software development life cycle experience, including tasks such as requirements generation, design reviews, implementation, and validation of design.
Excellent problemsolving skills and a passion for learning.
Sound understanding of core discipline of computer science and engineering such as algorithms, data structures, and computer architecture.
Good oral and written communication skills
Able to learn new technologies quickly and understand a wide variety of technical challenges. Able to adapt quickly to a fastpaced development environment.
Strong experience working in multidisciplinary teams.
