Overview:

Responsibilities:

Coordinate import activities, including documentation, customs clearance, BOL Making and shipping arrangements.
Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Monitor and track shipments to ensure they arrive on time and in good condition.
Manage import/export compliance, including ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
Work closely with internal teams, including purchasing, inventory, and sales, to coordinate logistics activities.
Maintain accurate records of shipments, customs documents, and related activities.
Analyze logistics data and identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
Stay updated on import/export regulations and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices.
Handle any issues or delays in shipments, including coordinating with carriers and resolving customs issues.
Assist in developing and implementing logistics strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Proven experience in logistics coordination, preferably in the Logistics, Shipping line or import/export industry.
Strong understanding of end to end logistics, import regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Detailoriented with strong organizational and problemsolving abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and make datadriven decisions.
Knowledge of international trade practices and Incoterms.
Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., Certified International Trade Professional) is a plus.
