Technician
Keep all equipment in good repair with a minimum of downtime by providing day-to-day maintenance of the hotel. And to complete maintenance work orders from all departments on a timely basis by following hotels standard operating procedures.
Continually work towards and support the improvement of engineering service to guests, other departments and fellow staffs.
Maintenance and Repairs:
- Perform regular maintenance tasks on hotel facilities and equipment, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and appliances.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical issues in guest rooms, public areas, and backofhouse spaces.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems and address them before they escalate.
Equipment Installation:
- Install, set up, and calibrate new equipment and appliances in guest rooms, conference rooms, and other hotel areas.
- Ensure that all installations comply with safety and quality standards.
Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations when performing repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Keep updated records of maintenance and repair activities to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Guest Requests:
- Respond promptly to guest requests related to room maintenance, repairs, or technical issues.
- Provide excellent customer service while addressing guest concerns and ensuring their satisfaction.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other hotel staff members, including housekeeping and front desk personnel, to coordinate maintenance and repair activities without disrupting guest experiences.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and efficient problem resolution.
Inventory Management:
- Maintain an inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment necessary for repairs and replacements.
- Reorder supplies as needed to ensure adequate stock levels.
Preventive Maintenance:
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of equipment and prevent breakdowns.
- Conduct regular checks on all machinery and systems to identify issues proactively.
Record Keeping:
- Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair activities, including dates, tasks performed, and materials used.
- Generate reports on equipment status, repairs, and maintenance activities as required by management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification; technical training in a relevant field is preferred.
- Proven 23 years experience as a technician, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces.
- Excellent communication skills and a customeroriented approach when interacting with guests.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to maintenance and repair work.
Salary:
₹15, ₹20,000.00 per month
