  • SAP BW Authorization Consultant

Job Description:


  • SAP Security and GRC consultant with minimum 5 years of experience in implementation, Upgrade, rollouts and support projects.
  • Experience on BW authorizations, ECC, S/4 HANA, SAP BO, BPC and HANA DB authorizations is necessary.
  • Good understanding of authorizations concepts for SAP BW landscapes like BW4HANA and BW on HANA.
  • Ability to understand the business requirements related to authorizations and design the security framework based on it.
  • Hands on experience on tracing using RSECADMIN, troubleshooting BW authorization issues and Hierarchy authorizations.
  • Hands on experience on SAP Enterprise Portal security
  • Create roles and groups, perform assignment of groups and roles to users.
  • Experience on FIORI role design and troubleshooting access issues.
  • Experience on Eclipse to administer HANA DB and to manage SAP BW objects.
  • Experience on SAP IdM (Business Role management and access management)
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills; Can communicate with Business Partners to explain difficult issues and works to establish consensus.
  • Experience on SAP IdM(identity management tool) and GRC access control.

Good to have:

  • Knowledge on SAP DataSphere,, SAP IdM/GRC implementation, BTP and SAC
  • Working experience on ticketing tool ServiceNow.
  • Knowledge on SAP Basis BW configurations and connection setup
