Job Description:

As a Quality Assurance Specialist in the fashion industry, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all products and processes meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

You will play a crucial role in maintaining the reputation of our brand by conducting thorough inspections, identifying defects, and implementing corrective actions throughout the production and manufacturing process.

Your attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and passion for maintaining excellence will contribute directly to our success in delivering exceptional products to our customers.

Responsibilities:

Quality Inspections:

Conduct detailed inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications.

Defect Identification:
Identify, document, and communicate defects, deviations, and non-conformities in products, materials, or processes. Collaborate with relevant teams to resolve issues promptly.

Quality Documentation:
Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of quality inspections, test results, and defect reports. Prepare reports on quality trends and performance for management review.

Process Monitoring:
Monitor various stages of the production process to prevent quality issues and deviations from approved standards. Work closely with production teams to address and resolve potential problems.

Sampling and Testing:
Organize and conduct sample testing of products to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality guidelines. Perform necessary tests using appropriate equipment and methods.

Root Cause Analysis:
Investigate the root causes of quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions to mitigate future occurrences.

Supplier Collaboration:
Collaborate with suppliers to establish and maintain quality standards for incoming materials. Conduct supplier audits and evaluations as needed.

Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process optimization and quality enhancement. Propose and implement improvements to existing quality control procedures.

Training:
Provide training to production staff and other relevant teams regarding quality standards, processes, and best practices.

Regulatory Compliance:
Stay updated with relevant industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to quality and safety. Ensure the company's compliance with all applicable requirements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in quality assurance, preferably within the fashion or têxtile industry.
Strong understanding of garment construction, fabric properties, and manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of quality control techniques, tools, and methodologies.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify even minor defects.
Analytical mindset and problemsolving skills for root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with crossfunctional teams and suppliers.
