    Job Description
    Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive to join our team. The Sales Executive will be responsible for promoting and selling spectacles to customers, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate should possess excellent sales and communication skills, have a strong understanding of optical products, and be able to effectively manage a sales team.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the sales function.
    2. Ensure the optical outlet/store operates from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm.
    3. Communicate with customers in a polite and professional manner.
    4. Maintain a neat and clean appearance in dressing.
    5. Arrange frames neatly and categorize them by price range.
    6. Supervise prescription taking under the guidance of the Optical Sales Manager.
    7. Communicate all optical sale offers to customers.
    8. Demonstrate detailed knowledge of lenses and frames, providing suggestions and recommendations to customers.
    9. Handle and clarify customer queries and doubts effectively.
    10. Provide usage instructions to customers for their spectacles.
    11. Coordinate with the fitting supervisor to ensure frames are sent to the fitting lab and collected/delivered within the specified time.
    12. Issue receipts for own frame orders.
    13. Achieve personal daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly sales targets.
    14. Achieve the required number of daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly sales.
    15. Dispense spectacles, conduct quality checks on dispensed spectacles and lenses, and handle spectacle repairs as needed.
    16. Fill out job covers clearly after each sale.
    17. Coordinate with relevant staff for spectacles ready for delivery, courier processes, home delivery, undelivered spectacles, and resale processes.
    18. Verify complaints registered in the complaint register and report them to the Optical Manager.
    19. Update daily optical performance reports, daily individual sales performance reports, monthly optical performance reports, and monthly individual sales performance reports for the Optical Manager.
    20. Update the leave schedule file.
    21. Perform any other duties assigned by management from time to time.


    Requirements

    • Education: Any degree ( +2 with relevant experience in the field), preferably BSc Optometry.
    • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in optical sales and shop management. Must have worked in a professional sales atmosphere and have experience in managing a sales team.

    4. Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
